What is Shinto?

Most consider Shinto to be “the Indigenous religion of Japan.”

I prefer to think of Shinto as a way of life that respects those with whom we share this world.

Who is Inari-sama?

Inari (“sama” being an honorific) is a Kami/deity of agriculture, prosperity, business… and a great many other very good things.

Why do what you do?

I hope to share with other Westerners, the elements within Shinto and Japanese culture that I’ve fallen-in-love-with over the years.

Why foxes?

They’re beautiful animals, and they’re fun to draw.

They are also Inari-sama’s helping-spirits.

When will Yumeko and the Wayward Wish be released?

The short, “one-shot” manga will be released in early 2025.

Afterward, we’ll be publishing full-size issues on a regular basis for the remainder of the Wayward Wish storyline.

How can I help support your work?
